Guest guest
>This reminds me of when I was last home. My mum moved knives between her >(dairy) margarine, and my bread. When I insisted on cleaning the >bread-knife before cutting my slice, her reaction was " Well how does >that help the animals. " it is funny how universal our bains, gripes and responses are! nevermind where ever in the world we are, the same issue come up and we invent the similar responses. watching the birth pangs of unconscious meat eaters after we spread thousands of little seeds of awareness all over the world ... what i dont understand is why when folks say they love us cant they happily adopt to that which please us? if iloved someone, i would be quite happy to give up something and would always take great care and attention over what i fed them, offered them ... think through what it is they are saying to me. trouble with veganism is that it is a little corner of enlightenment and once you have eaten it you can see all the darkness around you when you did not do so before. on the extreme veganism stuff, may be we should re-label veganism as extreme, extreme as in " extreme sports " etc is kinda cool right now. so when people say, vegans are extreme, just say yeah, X-treme veganism like extreme sports, snow boarding, paragliding and so on. " X-treme veganism. do you have enough balls ? " john
