The major thing here is *never* to ask your hosts something like " is this

dish free of dairy products? " . 99% of the time they will nod sagely, look

you in the eye and say " yes ofcourse! " . Claiming your allergic to dairy

products and would die horribly if you ingest even 1 nanogram is a good way

to get them to tell you the truth.

Glad you said this. Totally agree. It's a subtle point for some people

though. The real point ofcourse is to make a difference in the world and

the lives of non humans by effecting the industry etc and peoples opinions,

not to feel pure.
