You're right. I mind more because people who do food for me might use it as the thin end of a wedge. ( " Then he won't mind if I put margarine in his sandwich, because that's only a little. They're bred to produce too much wool. Just as cows are bred to produce so much milk they *need* milking (or, alternatively, calves to feed), sheep are bred to produce too much wool. After all, how could wild sheep have survived? I do like wool, though, and you can get stuff made from animal refuge wool. It was one of the last things I gave up as a vegan. (And I have a nice scarf, to which I've got a sentimental attachement, and I have no intention of getting ride of it.) But on the other hand, it is a significant part of sheep farming revenues. I've also heard that something like 25% of wool is recovered from dead sheep. > lov loz > -- Ian McDonald http://www.mcdonald.me.uk/

Guest guest
Hi I always take a disposable one - the veggies think they can use it too!! shame for them. I do however often allow the veggies one half! The thing with wool for me is how do you know if it is a slaughter house product or from happy sheep roaming the fields - also ever noticed how there seem to be fewer little boys around than girls - so what happened to the girls!?
