Hmm open for debate, that one My vote goes for Shoreditch Stout, as was being sold at the last vegan festival. That was lovely. However Sam Smiths is really quite nice - but ISTR it wasn't vegan from the keg, only in bottled form? I just tried to look that up, but the vegetarian society page on it (http://www.vegsoc.org/info/vegbeers.html) seems to have disappeared, and the redirect in its place doesn't have the complete list linked anywhere I can see. Of course, it's possible I can get the landlord of a certain local pub around here to brew some of what used to be Flannery's Oatmeal Stout to vegan standards - he seemed quite keen to please last time I spoke about it. Mmmm, beer... ...ciaran -- Ciaran Anscomb, Perl/C Hacker This isn't ordinary hail! These are calcium chloride nodules!
