where do you live ewen?

its tougher to find vegan beer in the UK because of the prevalence of isinglas

stay away from cask conditioned beers

here in the colonies, most beers are filtered with DME or some other filter

99% of spirits (vodka, gin, etc) are going to be vegan...

wine can also have certain animal ingredients, tho, again, here in the states, a

lot of wineries use bentonite, which is clay

some ciders use animal products, so beware

you can always contact the brewer/winery/cidery and they'll be happy to let ya

know wots in yer drink!

and true scrumpy, not sure if anyone makes true real scrumpy anymore, but, if

its REAL, will have some sort of animal product in it...farmhouse scrumpy use to

have a hunk of meat in it...ugh!! don't think commercial scrumpies will, but,

pays to keep yer eyes and ears open!

cheers
