Guest guest
hey about smoking, this has nothing to do with veganism, but i its relative to MY suffering, and i am an animal after all. last night i went out to the union. im asthmatic but i took my inhaler before we left, since i am allergic to cigarette smoke. today i woke up with a headache, a sore throat, and had to skip class all day to be close to the loo. i felt hungover. the same goes for shows, in fct my decidation to music will most likely lead to my eventual death. ive lost consciousness three times in the past year rfom overexposure and my breathing gets worse every day. i wsa recently switched to a new drug, so i no longer have to take a steroidal inhaler 8 times a day, which is a blessing!! but ive always hateed the fact that my life depends on medication. i know its as much my fault for driving a car as it is anyone elses that smokes, but passing out at a gig is not fun. i dont want to sound like militant. ive had sleepless nights because im so conflicted about it. i beleive that people should have the right to smoke, but i should also have the right to a healthy set of lungs. theres no possible way to solve this problem, which is a major flaw in the whole freedom of choice thing. spiggy -- Priscilla Pelkey spiggy - email (210) 576-2701 x5770 - voicemail/fax ---- " Dee Matheson " <dmatheson72 wrote: > > FREE voicemail, email, and fax...all in one place. I've been seriously addicted to nicotine, have wasted so much time trying to give up in the past, I used to give up every two weeks for about three or four days, and then start again, and even got used to the routine of stopping and starting. I feel the same way as you that I should have the right to have healthy lungs. I want to help solve your problem and mine, the only thing i can do is give up for good! Sorry to hear abouthow hard it is to go to gigs with your asthma, all I can say is enjoy them as much as you can, there are rarely any in my area and so i don't really go anymore.
