Guest guest
all their breads vegan. but im not a big fan of salad sandwhiches (unless their from subway! MMMmmmmm) so i kinda switched to schlostkys pizza when i went vegan, so i dunno what else they have. i think america needs a vegan fast food chain (i hear theres one in london, and theire going to try building one in edinburgh, anyone else know about this?) im a big fan of fast food (i hate to admit that, seeing how unhealthy it is, but im not really vegan for health) but theres not much you can get. taco bell used to give me free tortillas for lunch, when i was trying to hide my vegetarianism from my parents, but mcdonalds and burger king just reek of death. so if you know any fast food places i could raid, lemme know! spiggy -- Priscilla Pelkey spiggy - email (210) 576-2701 x5770 - voicemail/fax ---- Cheryl Chooljian <triceratopsbean wrote: [Non text/plain message body suppressed] FREE voicemail, email, and fax...all in one place. Guest guest
those only sometimes come from animals and considering theyre in absolutely EVERYTHING i cant be bothered spending my entire life calling customer service representatives that are going to lie to me anyway, when i could be out participating in some good old activism. lecithin i do avoid, however, considering 90% of labels actually say 'soya lecithin' im not going to feel right eating something with plain old lecithin. also beware polysorbates. anything polysorbate, potassium sorbate sodium sorbate, those are tricky ones. i only found out about them last year. and another one is L-cystein. its in a lot of breads and do-it-yourself pizza mixes. even certain digestives contain it. its a weird one. but im not too worried about mono and diglycerides. but if you do manage to find out subway for shur uses animal derives M & D's lemme know so i can stop spending money there on a weekly basis. although in my home town, most of the subway empolyees were themselves vegan. so not only did i get awesome sandwhiches, we also got all their extra bread and fed it to the homeless in downtown dallas. they always enjoyed our vegan cooking and after a while they recognised all our cars and would meet us in the parking lot when we pulled up =) spiggy -- Priscilla Pelkey spiggy - email (210) 576-2701 x5770 - voicemail/fax ---- lacie farmer <laciefarmer wrote: [Non text/plain message body suppressed] FREE voicemail, email, and fax...all in one place.
