Guest guest
Hey, Are you hoping to find bottled beers or are you just sort of looking for the safe common denominator in pub draughts? Vegan draughts, I've found, are rare in most pubs (unless you get to Brighton, in which case, go to the George, which is a veg*n pub). However, on tap, Grolsch is vegan. I believe that most (all) Bavarian beers are vegan, as German brewing regulations used to prohibit the use of filters. Anyroad, I cannot think clearly at the moment because I'm too excited about MY monthly ale: Blacksheep's Monty Python's Holy (Gr)Ail. Mmmm... If you don't get a satisfactory response from anywhere else and you've already tried http://www.vegansociety.com, I'll try to dig up a comprehensive list for you. O, if you see a Co-Op supermarket, a lot of their house brand beers are vegan...AND organic!!! Have fun... xk@x halibut28 [jessie] 22 March 2002 19:48 vegan-network [100% veg*n ] vegan alcohol Hi I am going to London on vacation in a couple of days (from Los Angeles) and I want to know what kind of beers and such are vegan over there? Guest guest
Easy, Tiger! I didn't say that I like or even recommend Grolsch. It's just a common draught beer here in Blighty and it is vegan. There you go! ) xxk@xx EBbrewpunx [EBbrewpunx] 22 March 2002 22:31 vegan-network RE: RE: [100% veg*n ] vegan alcohol well..i wouldn't go by " its german, its ok " any longer..the german purity laws went out the window years ago..thank you budweiser...#%%#$^^$%!!! tho, doesn't mean the germans don't make some fine beer second point..if you see a beer that is unfiltered, drink that..if it has yeast in it, that means there is no isinglass.. and grolsch?? ickle!!! fraggle
