Yay!!! I found a cool place to talk to other vegans!! I don't know

very many, so I'm siked!!

I've been a vegetarian for almost 7 years and a 99% vegan for

about 6 and a half. What I mean by 99% is I'll occasionally eat

something if it has a teeny bit of organic dairy. I'ts funny, though

because last night I was tempted by a double shot espresso

drink with dairy and denied it. I took one sip and thought, " where

did this dairy come from? How would I know. It might have

come from some scary dairy farm in texas where all the cows

are practically piled on top of eachother. " Neither me or my

boyfriend drank it and were mad at ourselves for even

considering it.

One thing I need to be sure to do is get enough B12. I forget

vitamins sometimes, but every time we eat a salad, we put

nutritional yeast on it. We've been buying a lot of kale lately, too.

That helps with calcium. For protien, we eat a lot of tofu and

almond butter. Trader Joes has the best deals!!! I don't know if

you guys have that, but it's a great health food chain here.

I know I'm going on and on, but I guess I'm just siked to find

people who understand. Talk to ya later.
