Event One:

Modern Manna Health and Healing Crusade

this is in Lodi California, just a bit south of Sacramento.

This event is Top Notch. Run by Danny Vierra, who is a

Seventh Day Adventist Minister, his lovely wife Charise and

Ted Phelps who is the organizer, and their wonderful crew.

The Vierra's own a health

food store in Lodi, CA and are very tuned it to alternative

health and healthy eating and living.

While this show is not entirely raw, the speakers are just dynamite-

Including, of course me-The Raw Gourmet-and Dr. John McDougall,

Dr.Hans Diehl, Charlotte Gerson (daughter of Max Gerson who started

the famous Gerson Institute in Mexico), David Hall,

Thomas Jackson, Danny and Charise Vierra.

Topics Featured-among others will be: discussion on cancer cures,

herbal remedies, natural healing, vegan and raw food preparation,

cleansing and detoxifying, children's programs

because there is no money exchanged on the Sabbath

Who should go to this Crusade: If you will enjoy a well-organized

event with a very loving, very strong religious message-if you

want to learn more about natural health and healing from a biblical

perspective, but with concrete hands-on information, literature,

speakers, supplements this is the show for you. This would be an

excellent in-depth show for Health Ministers, and anyone who is

not offended to hear the word God and the Word of God, used often.

People who are

offended by New Age Messages should attend this show. You won't

find crystals here. I have found

books here that I had never seen before. There are hotels nearby but they

are filling up fast if they haven't already. Book your flight.

2. Event two.

The 2002 International Raw and Living foods festival

August 23, 24, 25 - Portland, Oregon!

 

I NEED HELP FOR THIS FESTIVAL ALSO. SAME TERMS AS ABOVE. PLEASE

CALL OR EMAIL ME RIGHT AWAY IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO HANG OUT WITH ME

AND HELP ME AT THIS FESTIVAL.

Who should go to this festival. This event has more of a carnival

type atmosphere. There will be raw fooders from all over. There will

be three speaker sessions going on at once and the booths will

be open from 11-5 daily. While there is no overall cohesive message

as there will be at the Lodi Modern Manna Crusade Event,

this festival is well worth flying in for also. There is more of a

New Age message here, but the intent is that the message is about

raw food, living food lifestyle in all its aspects.

I have been testing new items and will soon be coming out with

a wonderful versatile all purpose

knife that doesn't cost a fortune and it will have a

great give-away. I am still working on the steam

machine research and have stumbled upon something else for household

cleaning use that seems just stupendous in terms of getting it for

25% of the usual price, but need a bit more time to test and

research before I come out with it.

 

Good News! Cisca will be working with me again, soon. She had her

baby in March, a beautiful daughter named Gabriella-Cisca lives in

Virginia now while you know that I live on Cape Cod in

Massachusetts. Cisca will take phone orders, help with various

office stuff and do the shipping, while I sit down and write

that NEXT BOOK I am bursting

forth with ideas and plans about. I am sooo happy that Cisca can

come back, because she is a raw fooder and has been well trained

by me so I know that things will run smoothly with her at the

helm.

 

I still have the update to send you about Seth, and tons of other

things to

put in upcoming newsletters- it has been difficult to find the time

while I continue to settle in my new house and new office.

But I wanted to remind you of these two fabulous upcoming events,

as I know that it takes time to plan to attend these, I

can assure you

that they are well worth it-and I wanted to let you know that

I need some help for both of them. More later

OH, one other thing-are you getting out there and picking dandelion

greens, plantain and chicory? It is all over the place here and so

tender and delicious. Quick, buy an edible wild plant book with

pictures and go do it!! YUM!!!(flowers too, don't forget!)
