Guest guest
Greetings, friends! We've got some exciting news -- tickets are now on sale for the upcoming fabulous VegSource Event in September 2002, this time in beautiful Manhattan Beach, California (3 miles from the Los Angeles Airport)! Event 2002 features an amazing group of experts and thinkers; in fact, this particular group has never spoken together before. Where else can you find Dr. Dean Ornish, Dr. William Castelli, Ocean and John Robbins, Anna and Frances Moore Lappe, Dr. John McDougall, Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn, Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D, OH & vegan), Professors T. Colin Campbell and Marion Nestle all under the same roof? Nowhere but the VegSource eVent!!! And the fun is not limited to enjoying the brilliant speakers -- we're also planning a golf tournament on Friday (with prizes to both the low and high scorers -- golf course is at the hotel), karoake after Dean Ornish's talk, a formal masked ball on Saturday evening, and an action packed group trip to Disneyland on Monday, for those still in town. All the food is gourmet vegan, designed by Chef Tanya Malch of Native Foods (http://www.nativefoods.com). There will also be special veg items on the Marriott hotel menu for those meals which are not included in the ticket price. For more information about the biggest party on the West Coast, click here: http://www.vegsource.com/event/ Prices go up after June 15, and hotel space (and the time by which to make reservations) is limited. We've negotiated an incredible deal at the Manhattan Beach Marriott -- only $84 a night (regular room rate is $199+), and up to four people can stay in the same room at no extra charge. You can purchase tickets online: http://www.vegsource.com/event/reserve.htm If you'd like to see what you missed last year (or remember what you experienced!), check out these links: http://www.vegsource.com/event/photos.htm http://209.15.28.105/vegsource/event.ram (video - requires free Real media player) If you are interested in sponsoring the event of the year, please click here: http://www.vegsource.com/event/sponsorship.htm Hope to see you in September, we're really looking forward to seeing our old vegsource friends again, and hopefully meeting some new ones!
