like i said it was the " lets try thinking out of the box a bit here " which

sounded patronising to me

The email wasn't aimed specifically at you but also at what some others seem

to be saying re shunning partners/disassociating yourself from the non-vegan

community

......we all have to start somewhere as i think the majority of us aren't

raised as vegans so we all have our skeletons in the closet....if you will

forgive the pun

there seems to be some misunderstandings here and i apologise if i have

upset you....but don't take everything so personally, read around the wider

thread and relate peoples comments to that

I would've thought that the situation in London was better than most, what

with the cosmopolitan mix of people.....I don't know any vegans personally

but Bournemouth is a bit retrograde!!

......but then I don't look to meet vegans specifically, in fact I don't try

to meet anyone specifically....I meet who I meet and make many friends

take it easy....

where did you get that from?? because he didn't want to live with a bunch of

uptight folks??

ah crap, now i'm being dragged into this argument

it seems, to me, that some folks would just want to be friends with vegans, just

they are vegan...people are people, there are asshole vegans as well as really

super dooper sweet awesome vegans...

i use to know this vegan fellow in orange county....he was big into animal

rights, a sorta nice guy..and he was an idiot white power nazi...go figure...

" i luv animals, i just think all mexicans, n*ggers and others should just go

home "

*shakes head*

some folks are just messed up...

just cuz someone is vegan doesn't make em better...we is all people(well, except

me, i'm just a fraggle and exempt..)..

but, graham's description didn't sound like a fun place to live..

i once went to commune out in SoCal...you could stay there fer free, eat yummy

organic veggies, join in their strange tribal drum circle wotchawhozits..and

every sunday you had to have an enema...you had to, it was the rules

no thanx..not into those sorta water sports...thanx anyways...

now, if they had pleather whips, that would have been different..oh wait..did i

say that here..?

ignore me..i'm not here....

cheers
