Friends, If you're in the NYC Region:

2002 New York City Anarchist / Anti-authoritarian Summer

Gathering (were told it's not the first)

 

Saturday, August 3rd, 12noon, Prospect Park, Brooklyn

 

Rain The following Saturday, same time, same location.

 

The location is a scenic point along the bucolic shores of

Prospect Lake, among the mosquitos and flies, but beautiful

nonetheless.

 

FOR DIRECTIONS please visit

Or take the F train to 15th Street / Prospect Park Stop, and

wonder around looking for the banner and signs proclaiming

the festivities.

 

If you'd like to help us organize it (or tell us what your

bringing), send an email to: gathering

(please DO NOT respond to moose, he is merely a lackey).

 

What to Bring: Frisbees, soccer balls, veggie hot-dogs,

kites, lawn chairs, sunglasses, tanning oils, watermelon,

pets, blankets, children, and lots and lots of food!

Why on earth are they having something like that in New Jersey? Why not New

York? Or are they having it close to NY?

Speaking of making fun of all things related to NJ, I will have to eat my

words 'coz I just got a job that is probably going to force me to move back

there -- LOL! It's a really good job and it's really, really close to NYC

so I'm not complaining! But I will *still* have to admit to living in NJ.

Oh well. Maybe I will just tell people I live really close to NYC and hope

they won't need any further explanation...

I hope you won't be living or working anywhere bear the NJ

Turnpike at certain exits. I remember driving through there

and the air was so bad I really thought I would croak from it.
