Good post Michael.

 

I was going to chip in on just this issue because it is important to grasp.

There is no such thing as vegans just as there are no such thing as blacks,

jews, gays and communists.

 

OK, there is the fair stance of the little fish associating with the bigger

shoal for safety but generally the only time people climb on these

collective self identities it is for self interest.

 

Status seeking, power, to take benefit from the good credit of others or

even to divide to rule. To create imaginary enemies that can be de-humanised

and attacked. Imaginary allies that can be used to manipulate the minds of

others to achieve the manipulators goals.

 

And often this is just to hide short comings in the manipulators too.
