Just yesterday in a youth hostel t.v room, myself and a group of non-vegans were watching some sort of American challenge programme where each of the contestants had to eat a certain part of a pigs body, like tongue, heart, snout, bladder, ear etc. Most of the contestants couldn't do it. The others I was watching with were going 'Eeeeeeeww, that's gross.' And yet these same people probably enjoy a bacon sarnie. But I told them I don't understand the difference. They are all parts of a dead pig! But I guess they can't make the association and I guess it's a cultural thing. Guest guest
those eating " gross " parts of critter shows are real popular here in the states..dunno why..everyone gets all grossed and giggily when they make em eat bollocks..yet, these folks would gleefully munch on hotdogs, sausage, bologna, etc doesn't make much sense, but little does in the world today.... cheers fraggle " Dee Matheson " <dmatheson72 wrote: > > > >>anyone with any sense of heart or soul or indignation would want at that >>moment: for the abusive slug-bait of a person to be immediately gored by >>God's own rusty butter knife and then strung up by their tonsils and made >>to >>listen to Celine Dion techno remixes on infinite loop while slowly being >>eaten alive by rabid fire ants.
