There is one problem however, I have an extremely severe allergy to legumes (i.e. peanuts, peas, beans, alfalfa, and soy derivatives-including soybean oil.) Yes, I have to carry the " epi-pen " around. I was wondering if there was a way for me to get my recommended ~80+ grams of protein per day and still be vegan? Could someone possibly give me some recommendations for alternatives to legume products that would supply the 9 essential amino acids required. Also Seitan, which is wheat-protein, is quite high in protein (but also gluten if you're sensitive to that). Are there any types of sprouts you're not allergic to? I'm not sure if 80 grams is necesary for everybody, it's relative to body-weight I guess. If I have any more ideas I'll let you know.
