Guest guest Posted August 30, 2002 Report Share Posted August 30, 2002 Theoretically they are an alliance of 'countryside interests', eg disgruntled farmers etc, but really they are just a very vocal pro-hunting lobby. Hmm just looked at their website http://www.countryside-alliance.org/ seems they are anti-rambling as well (ramblers on this side of the pond being about the right of 'common people' to have access to walk about the countryside, keep open public rights of way, footpaths, etc).
