Vegan Health Study Participation Request

 

You are invited to participate in the Vegan Health Study, being

conducted by Dr. Klaper's Institute of Nutrition Education and

Research.

 

This study will help further our understanding of how to optimize

human health and function utilizing purely plant-based diets.

All data gathered will be kept anonymous.

All participants will be asked to complete a questionnaire on their

dietary habits and their health experiences subsequent to any dietary

change.

A selected group of those who complete the questionnaires will be

asked to supply specimens of saliva, urine, blood, and stool for

analysis of blood type, liver function, amino acid profiles, lipid

levels, digestive function, intestinal parasites, food antibodies,

carnitine status, vitamin B-12 levels, mineral status, and many other

parameters.

Results of the analysis of the questionnaire data and laboratory

tests will be made available to all participants.

Your assistance in the Vegan Health Study will be a significant

contribution to the nutritional science of the 21st Century and will

be greatly appreciated.

Former vegans, vegetarians of all varieties (lacto-, lacto/ovo-,

etc.), and omnivores are needed for the control group and are invited

to participate.
