Answer: No - it's a spammer trying to waste your time. If you ever see an

email like that, which is from someone who is new to a group, and who only

puts something brief in an email then don't trust it.

 

Also if you look at the web site address, it doesn't look like it would be

selling a cookbook, there is no page after the domain name, and the domain

itself does sound like it would be selling something. Finally it ends with

promote?code - anything which ends in promote or referral and a code

usually means that the person who is providing the link will get some

benefit from it. Such as when you buy something from the site they get a

percentage of the sales. This doesn't necessarily mean the person

shouldn't be trusted (it's up to you to decide on your own attitude to

advertising etc.) but it is another reason to be skeptical if you already

have no reason to trust someone.

i can tell you i've seen this spam on every single one of my veggie groups i

belong too...it soon will surpass " greenpersonals "
