Guest guest
OCTOBER 16th looms large - for info please goto http://www.mcspotlight.org/media/press/releases/msc020902.html Meanwhile in London, UK: On Saturday 19 October London Animal Action will be holding a demonstration against the Kings Cross branch of McDonald's, opposite the entrance to the station, on the corner of Belgrove St and Euston Rd, WC1, from 4pm-onwards. This is to mark Anti-Mac Day on the 16th and also ties in with the Anarchist Bookfair which is taking place just up the road at the Camden Centre from 10am-7pm (LAA will have a stall there along with lots of other radical groups and Veggies will be selling delicious vegan food). Please tell people about the demo and ask them to bring banners, whistles, etc, so we can make this as loud and visual as possible. There are two stores in the Kings X vicinity - the second being on the corner of York Way (beside the station as well). If there are enough ppl - pickets may spontaneously appear at both - which might be nice. Leafleting 2 within sight of each other will create a really good impact and there's no need to show favouritism and only leaflet at one of them! So, we say 'Get it ON!' with a healthy dollop of swing those thighs, stop the McLies, tell the world about homemade vegan pies! (Ed: oh dear ...)
