Guest guest
Hi, I'm eclectic in practice, although I've been initiatied into a couple of traditions. I practice both with my Coven (http://www.moonspellcoven.net) and by myself. I've been Pagan all my life (apparently refused to go to Sunday School at about the age of 4!), but became Wiccan after a fair bit of study into the different aspects of Paganism and the different paths. I first self-initiated many years ago, then have been formally intiated by a couple of groups since. The website has more about us that I can be bothered writing here :-) so feel free to have a look if you're interested. But one aspect of our practice that is quite interesting is that 4 out of the 5 of us are vegetarian or vegan. From my experience, a majority of Wiccans seem to be vego, in this part of the world anyway. We simply take the 'Harm None' precept of our religion to its logical conclusion :-) Cheers, Leanne XXX RE: Equalitarian Religion: A religion that practices Veganism do you follow a " branch " of wicca(ie Gardnerism, etc ....) er are you a general " practitioner " ??? how did you get into wicca?? how long?? do you belong to a coven, er are you solo??? just curious cheers fraggle Leanne Daharja Veitch <daharja wrote: >Hi, > >I've never heard of Equalitarianism before - is it a branch of Christianity? > >The reason I ask is that, as a Wiccan, I found your post to sound very >male-dominated in tone. referring to the Divine as 'Lord' for example, >sounded jarring in my ears.
