Carol singing seems more static these days - groups of people singing in town centres for charidee. Also tend to get groups of two or three teenage lads who sing " we wish you a merry... " and then stick their hands out. When I was young we went carol singing just for the fun of it, but that was a village where most people knew each other. A few years ago I went round a neighbourhood carol singing with a friend (to raise money for a local swan sanctury), but it was a bit humiliating cos one bloke paid us to go away and stop singing at him - I didn't think we were that bad! _______________ Tired of spam?
