BAVRT is NOT a drop-in dinner event.

As always, you come under your own liability for all events. Pass

the word to your friends. This is not an exclusive net-folks only

event. This is not an activist group or singles event. Note that

if you plan to attend this dinner, you can order only vegetarian

dishes, even if the restaurant serves other stuff.

If you have suggestions for future sites, please e-mail them to

. If you want to volunteer host a BAVRT dinner,

please let me know!!

=====================================================================

#1) Spam emails

Most of you probably get too much email spam these days. I wade

through several hundred spam emails each day. Recently things took

a sinister turn. Some spammers have started spoofing veginfo.com

domain to send out spams. If you get these spams, please be assured

that I am not involved in sending out spams.

Is there anything legal I can do to combat this?

#2) This month's trek

Ron & Michelle who have hosted other very successful BAVRT dinners,

kindly agreed to host this month's dinner. Their restaurant of

choice is Lucky Creations in San Francisco.

Many of you may know this friendly, inexpensive, and good vegetarian

restaurant. Because of the size of the restaurant, group size is

limited. Please RSVP early before it gets full!

#3) Recurring vegan buffet?

Howard [East Bay Vegetarians] is trying to organize " a monthly

[or weekly] vegan dinner buffet going at a Berkeley Indian

restaurant [Curry 'n' Hurry]. " Here is yet another chance

to vote with your pocket book to affect a positive change!

#4) Last month's trek

Tammy & Chris and Lyman organized a highly successful BAVRT dinner

at the upscale Sto-A vegetarian restaurant last month. 19 people

attended and there was one no-show. Tammy did quite a bit of

" behind the scenes " work to make this a huge success that landed

the ratings: " 10 (top) " -- 11 votes, " 9 " -- 4 votes, " 8 " -- 3 votes.

Absolutely outstanding!

The dinner turned out to be excellent and service good. Most people

enjoyed the dinner so much that they plan to return on their own.

When you do, ask the restaurant to carry more vegan food!

#5) Vegan gathering in Monterey?

Any interest in getting together in Monterey for a recurring

vegan restaurant outing, potluck, or just hanging around?

Have to admit that I have a vested interest in this ;->,

as I live in Monterey these days.
