Lisa Franzetta is a national campaign coordinator for People for the Ethical

Treatment of Animals (PETA). Her duties aren't simply clerical; she has also

received international attention for appearing in nearly naked Leopard Lady and

Tiger Lady costumes that protest fur in high fashion, and a Lettuce Lady

bikini, which espouses vegetarianism. Franzetta explained PETA's goals and

activities to me while she lunched on vegan Thai cuisine near her Oakland home.
