the only time the media seems to talk about him its about his dietary

choices..

[from Exeter News Letter]

EXETER - " This is my kind of place, " said U.S. Rep. Dennis Kucinich as he

awaited his vegan lunch at the Blue Moon Market on Thursday. " Wherever I go in

America, this is the kind of place I look for. "

One of only a few vegans in Congress, the Democratic presidential

candidate was treated to a lunch of miso soup, an avocado sandwich and a corn

muffin free of all animal products, including milk or eggs.

....

Kucinich is campaigning on the platform of pulling U.S. troops of out Iraq

and ending the Bush administration pre-emptive war policy, but his visit to the

Blue Moon Market and Green Earth Cafe illustrates some of his other

priorities.

The store sells mostly organic food, and Kucinich said he wants to support

organic farmers and has introduced legislation that would require labeling and

stringent safety tests for genetically modified food.

Yeah--a vegan presidential candidate, how novel. Like they care

about Kucinich's views.

Re Kerry: there was a bit of a flap when he ordered a cheesesteak in

Philadelphia with the wrong type of cheese. Sheesh.
