But it's actually not that bad (and I've lived in Oakland and Richmond too...). I intro'd awhile back - my 13 yo daughter had decided to go vegan (I'm vegetarian) and I was looking for help, etc. She's still going strong. I am still looking for a decent subtitute for plain yogurt. It is a comfort food for her. The plain soy yogurts just don't seem to cut it - they all seem to have sweeteners and plain dairy yogurt is really tart. I've tried some different concoctions but haven't hit upon the right thing just yet. Anyone have any suggestions? nancy
Guest guest
I don't know if it's available in the US but in the UK we have Provamel Yofu which is not sweetened. It is rather tasty.
