5th ANNUAL WORLD VEGETARIAN DAY CELEBRATION

Sunday, September 26, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

San Francisco County Fair Building in Golden Gate Park, entrance at Lincoln &

9th Avenue, next to the Arboretum, close to the Japanese Tea Garden.

Public Transit: #44, #71, or N Judah, with BART connection at Embarcadero

station or any other Market Street station.

 

Adults $5 donation/Children, Students, Seniors with ID free.

Early Bird Special - free for everyone to 10:30 a.m.

Roasted Vegetables & Greens, and Fresh Mint Lemonade. Optional Dessert for $4

Macadamia of Melon in a Mint Syrup served with crushed Pistachio Nuts.

World Vegetarian Day Volunteers and Party

Lots of volunteers are needed for Saturday afternoon, Sept 25 for setting up and

Sunday, September 26 for setting up, assisting during the event, breaking down,

and cleaning up. Volunteers who help at least four hours get a free dinner at 6

p.m. that evening. Call our hotline 415-273-5481 or e-mail Noelle at

noelleinthecity to sign up (see link to form below) and to attend

the orientation party Tuesday, September 21 at Latino Community Center, 1656

enough food for everyone
