this is unbelievable and absolutely heart-breaking... how can these people live with themselves?! what a sad world we live in when life is so easily traded for money

alas, its not much different anywhere

I didn't watch the video.

I am sometimes very emotional. I am proud of this.

but I will save the link to watch it later, when I am stronger.

 

why?

because once in a while, I like to remind myself

why it is that I am vegan.

when I see those peta, videos,

yes, i feel sad, but.

it also fires up my heart and makes me want to

do positive action, stand up for them. reminds me of my convictions.

 

and not sit on my butt all day in front of my computer signing a

petition thinking, that I am doing enough.

 

I translate work for animal rights groups from spain.

from english to spanish and vice versa,

I write letters people. I send peta packages to friends in

argentina and uruguay. I volunteer inshelters and donate 5, 10, 15,

dollars, pennies, to animal charities.

none of this is enough. I need 50 of me, perhaps.

I want to devout more of my time to saving the lives of animals,

 

or anyone who cannot speak for themselves and whose rights are being

violated.

If I had to, I would readily give my life up for the truth.

after all, that is what I was taught as a kid.

Jesus died for the truth.

 

when I was five or so, I was sitting on my butt, not wanting to gather

water, my uncle offered me a torte if I finished.

I said " too much work for just a piece of torte "

that's when my granpa told me.

" Don't exist so that there's one more person on the planet "

 

do something with yourself and get to work, he was 96 at the time.

i won't forget that.
