Guest guest
Would anyone here be able to donate a laptop to a young lady trying to start her own business. I am looking into starting a Vegan Market, if God wills! This is not a scam, I just need one good laptop that can be taken with me during my travels & research. It will not be sold for money, used for any ill will or given to anyone else. I cannot afford to buy, rent or finance anything at this time. I have $0.00 to my name, I have this great idea, ideas on who I will purchase the wholesale foods, fruits, herbs, seasonings, vegetables, drinks, blenders, juicers, utensils, etc.from, but I would need information about grants, donations and other advise from any one. I have so many friends, family and acquaintances who are sick, have passed on or knows people who have passed on from diseases which could have been prevented if they had eaten right and used preventative methods. People try to eat right, but what's the use if they go into a regular grocery store and find two or three vegan items and the rest of the store is closing in on them with all these scrumptious looking/smelling animal food, processed foods, etc. that they are used to eating. The grocery store will also have vegan recipe books, health audios, books,Cd's, occasional speakers on health & diet, etc. at my customers' request. If anyone can help me to get this market up and running in or near my town, have any contacts or can assist me in a free proposal writing/business plan please contact me. Guest guest
I can't donate it, but I do have a working laptop that you could purchase for $100 plus shipping. Let me know. Guest guest
Check with your local library. The libraries here allow people to use the internet. You just have to sign up. It might be inconvenient at first but once you got your business going you could save for a laptop. There are always open computers during the morning hours before kids get out of school. Just a thought. Tammy rawfood , " Naimah " <naimah1118 wrote: > > Would anyone here be able to donate a laptop to a young lady trying > to start her own business. Guest guest
For $399 you can both buy one AND give one at the same time: http://www.xogiving.org/ -Erin http://www.vegandonelight.com ============================================================= > Assistance/Advice for Vegan Market??? > Posted by: " Naimah " naimah1118 > > Would anyone here be able to donate a laptop to a young lady > trying to start her own business. Guest guest
That's a good idea, but it's not something that could support a start up business in my opinion. It wouldn't be able to run any applications. For the same amount you could get a mediocre Windows laptop on eBay, but you have no money, right? I think the best idea would be to contact your local newspaper, tell them about your idea and situation, and see if they'd help get your message out or something, I bet you'd get a lot of donations if they ran an article on you. I think that's the best option, especially since it's local, and people aren't that likely to donate laptops to requests on the internet, since it's so impersonal. Does it NEED to be a laptop? Or could it be a desktop? Good luck, you can do it! Andrew http://www.vegiac.com
