Guest guest
VegNews, a bimonthly magazine, is probably best. They focus a lot on health issues, have some travel stuff, features of vegan goodies (but not too expensive), and basic vegan living. They have some recipes, but it's certainly not the focus. Check out www.vegnews.com. Danielle vegan-network: strange_decadence: Sun, 18 May 2008 12:40:21 +0000[100% veg*n ] Vegan Magazine? I see so many great magazines out there, some I used to read beforebecoming vegan a lot. They are on simple livings stuffs, living agreener more sustainable life, and yoga, and so on. My problem isthat now that I am vegan I find that a lot of their info does notapply to me. Does anyone know of a good vegan magazine? I wouldprefer one not just focusing on recipes, but those would work. Also,I don't want one that is just basically full of adds for vegan thingsthat there is no way I could ever afford. If there is an online version, that would be cool. But I would keepthe paper ones for as long as I could so those would not be a problem. Guest guest
I've seen it before, but been hesitant towards it since it is vegetarian, not vegan. I will check it out, though. Guest guest
Well, I don't know of many magazines that aren't filled with ads, except for Ms. And try to find a veg-friendly magazine that isn't. Come to think of it, try to find a good veg-friendly magazine. Vegetarian Times seems focused on the sorta vegetarian, thinking of reducing the meat in my diet. Also filled with ads. At least all the advertisements in VegNews are for vegan products. Guest guest
I do get annoyed by lots of ads, but it wouldn't be so bad if these reccomendations were VEGAN, not vegetarian. Dairy was the first, and easiest, thing for me to give up, so vegetarian stuff really gets on my nerves. Thank you for the suggestions, though. Thanks, Kris _ Do not fear the dangers of human forgetfulness and mortal inconstancy, do not be troubled with doubts of failure or by perplexing confusion, do not falter and question your status and standing, for in every dark hour, at every crossroad in the forward struggle, the Spirit of Truth will always speak, saying, " This is the way. " [The Urantia Book, p. 383, par. 2] _ “Until he extends his circle of compassion to all living things, man will not himself find peace.
