Guest guest
Any suggestions for withdrawl from cheese when becoming vegan? I have b een vegetarian for 10 years and vegan for the last 2 years and still have not found a satisfying 'replacement.' Also, I gave birth to my son 5 months ago, and while I was pregnant REALLY craved dairy. Any time I mentioned it to people they would say " oh, your body NEEDS dairy 'cuz you're pregnant. " Arrgghh. Does anyone have any snappy comebacks to this? Drove me nuts.
Guest guest
I have a *vegetarian*, not vegan, suggestion. Go to a Asian grocery story and get some miso paste. You can get this at a regular grocery store too, but it usually costs so much more. Put a spoon full of it in an omelet. While it's cooking the eggs do something to the miso that makes it taste really cheesy. That's what my sister says any way. I've been allergic to all forms of milk for many years and honestly I really remember what it tastes like, but my sister is in culinary school where she cooks and eats all day so I trust her opinion. vegan-network , " scogingj " <jgreene wrote: > > Any suggestions for withdrawl from cheese when becoming vegan?
