Guest guest Posted January 8, 2002 Report Share Posted January 8, 2002 Rice Pilaf Serving Size : 8 Preparation Time :0:00 Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 cups brown rice -- see directions 1 cup grated carrot -- see directions 2 stalks celery -- thinly sliced 3 cloves garlic -- chopped 1/2 cup chopped zucchini -- chopped 6 cups water 1/4 cup chicken bouillon 1 tablespoon olive oil 2 stalks green onions -- chopped Saute veggies in oil for a few minutes except for green onion. Add rice and brown slightly. Add water and seasoning. Cook until rice is tender. Drain off water if any excess. Garnish with green onion.
