While its garnishes may vary, we've topped ours with red onion, olives, parsley, olive oil, and sumac, a tart powder made from ground berries native to the Mediterranean. Serve with warm pita bread. To create a signature hummus, add pesto, roasted piquillo peppers, or cilantro.
