This mild and hearty spread combines favas with garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil, while chili powder gives it a kick. Serve with hot pita bread. Accompany with sautéed spinach or other greens. Cuisine: Turkey Prep Time: 15 Minutes Cooking Time: 0 Yield: 4 Servings Source: EthnicGrocer Ingredients 1 tablespoon(s) Lemon juice 2 teaspoon(s) Garlic, minced 2 tablespoon(s) Olive oil 1 can(s) Fava beans, drained and rinsed 1/2 teaspoon(s) Chili powder to taste Sea salt 1 tablespoon(s) Parsley, fresh, chopped Instructions Mix chili powder and garlic with salt to taste. Add beans to mixture and mash with a fork. Combine all ingredients thoroughly and transfer to a serving bowl. Whisk lemon juice with olive oil and pour over beans; garnish with fresh parsley.
