A dusting of paprika adds a bright red hue and smokiness. Serve with hot pita bread. Cuisine: Turkey Prep Time: 20 Minutes Cooking Time: 15 Minutes Yield: 4 Servings Source: EthnicGrocer Ingredients 3 tablespoon(s) Lemon juice 1/8 teaspoon(s) Cumin, ground 1 tablespoon(s) Garlic, minced ½ cup(s) Red lentils, picked over, rinsed, drained 1 cup(s) Fava beans, cooked and drained 1/8 teaspoon(s) Paprika to taste Sea salt 1 tablespoon(s) Parsley, fresh, chopped Instructions Simmer lentils in water to cover for about 15 minutes, or until tender. Drain. Mash favas and lentils together in a bowl. Add garlic, lemon juice, cumin, salt, and 2 tablespoons oil to make a cohesive mixture. Scoop the mixture into a shallow dish and pour remaining oil over it; garnish with paprika and parsley. Serve with warm pita bread. Language is an expression of thought.
