Guest guest Posted January 11, 2002 Report Share Posted January 11, 2002 Sour Cream Coffee CakeIngredients2 cups white sugar1 cup butter2 eggs1 cup sour cream2 cups all-purpose flour1 teaspoon baking powder1/8 teaspoon salt1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract1/3 cup all-purpose flour1/2 cup packed brown sugar2 tablespoons melted butter1 teaspoon ground cinnamonDirectionsPreheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease 9X13X2-inch cakepanCream 1 cup butter and white sugar. Add eggs, sour cream, and vanilla.Add 2 cups flour, baking powder, and salt. Spread 1/2 of batter in pan.To make filling: Mix together 1/3 cup flour, brown sugar, 2 tablespoonsmelted butter, and cinnamon.Sprinkle cake batter with 1/2 filling.
