Barbara's Black Bean Burgers

 

1/3 c. Sunflower Seeds

1 can Black Beans (16 oz or 1 1/3 cup, cooked)

1 c. Millet (cooked)

1/2 c. Onions (chopped fine)

3 Tbs. Tapioca (powder)

1/2 tsp. Salt

 

 

Grind the sunflower seeds in a dry blender jar. Place the ground seeds in a

medium mixing bowl. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Form into

pattie shapes with your hands and place on a non-sticky fry pan. Cook on

medium for a few minutes on each side, until medium brown. Or you can bake

them in the oven on a greased cookie sheet for 10-15 minutes on each side.

Makes 7 patties. Note: Cornstarch might work in place of the tapioca

powder/flour
