Guest guest Posted January 15, 2002 Report Share Posted January 15, 2002 Curried Potatoes and Peas 2 lbs. Potatoes, red (small, halved) 1/4 tsp. Salt 1 1/2 tsp. Tumeric 1 1/2 tsp. Cumin 1/2 tsp. Chili Powder 2 Tbs. Olive Oil 3 c. Tomatoes (chopped) 1 c. Peas Parboil potatoes for 5 minutes in lightly salted water. Drain and set potatoes aside. In a large skillet, saute tumeric, cumin, and chili powder in olive oil. Add potatoes to skillet and stir to coat iwth spices. Add tomatoes and simmer until potatoes are tender, about 20 minutes. Stir in peas, cover and cook for 5 minutes. Good served with rice. Language is an expression of thought.
