Guest guest Posted January 15, 2002 Report Share Posted January 15, 2002 " Chicken " Pot Pie with Cashew Gravy 3 Potatoes, red (chopped) 2 Carrots (sliced) 2 Celery stalks (chopped) 1 c. Peas 1 c. Corn 1 small Onion 1 can of diced Fri-Chic or gluten Steam above vegetables until crisp. Add Fri-Chic when vegetables are almost done. Make the Cashew Gravy (listed in Dinner Section) and add it to the steamed vegetables and Fri-chic. Put in your favorite pie crust recipe. Bake at 425 degrees for 35-45 minutes. Enjoy! Cashew Gravey 1 1/4 - 2 1/2 c. Water 1/2 - 3/4 c. Cashews 1 Onion, small 1 Garlic clove 1 t. Onion powder 1 t. Garlic powder 1/4 t. Cumin 1 t. Cumin 1 t. Paprika 1 1/2 Tbs. Vegex or Sovex 1 t. Salt 1 t. Chicekn Flavored Seasoning(McKay) Instructions: Blend cashews and water for 5 minutes until smooth. Then blend the rest of the ingredients with the cashew mixture. Add to some vegetables for a yummy pot pie. Servings 2-3 pies - Prep time: 15 minutes. Language is an expression of thought.
