Guest guest Posted January 15, 2002 Report Share Posted January 15, 2002 Stuffed Mushrooms 1 small Onion (finely chopped) 2 Garlic cloves (minced) 2 Tbs. Margerine 2 Tbs. Grape Juice (white) 18-20 large Mushrooms 3 slice Bread (crumbled) 1/2 tsp. Salt 1/2 tsp. Thyme 1/4 tsp. Oregano Saute the onion and garlic in margarine and white wine over medium heat until soft. Separate the mushrooms stems from the caps. Chop the mushrooms stems, finely. Add chopped mushroom stems to onion mixture. Add bread crumbs, salt, thyme, and oregano. Saute until a pasty mixture is formed. Fill each mushroom with stuffing. Put mushrooms in a casserole dish. Add a little margarine and white grape juice to the casserole dish for the mushrooms to cook in. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes. Serve hot. Language is an expression of thought.
