Tofu Patties

 

1 (16oz) Tofu (firm, water packed)

1 Med. Onion chopped

1/2 c. Water

1 c. Seasoned Bread Crumbs

1 c. Pecan Meal

1 tsp. Garlic Powder

1 tsp. Onion Powder

2 tsp. Chicken Style Seasoning

1/4 c. Olive Oil

 

 

Freeze tofu over nite, then thaw and press out water with paper towel. This

will give a meaty texture to the tofu. In a large bowl, crumble tofu into

small pieces. Next add bread crumbs, pecan meal, garlic, onion powder,

chicen seasoning, blend on low until mixture is smooth. Pour mixture into

bowl with other ingredients and stir well. In skillet, place oil as needed

and heat. Droop burger mixture by spoonful into hot and brown on both sides.

Serves 6-8.
