Guest guest Posted January 15, 2002 Report Share Posted January 15, 2002 Millet Meal in a Casserole 1 c. Tofu (extra firm, cubed) 1-2 Tbs. Liquid Aminos (or Soy Sauce) 3 c. Water (boiling) 1 c. Onion (chopped) 3 Garlic Cloves (crushed) 1 c. Millet (uncooked) 1 c. Carrots (sliced) 1/2 tsp. Salt 1 Bay Leaf 1/2 tsp. Sesame Oil 1 Tbs. Olive Oil (or Canola Oil) Place cubed tofu in a bowl, and pour the liquid aminos (Bragg) over the top. Let it set to acquire flavor. Set the water to boil. Place the remaining ingredients in a casserole dish. Mix well. Add the tofu and liquid aminos. Add the boiling water. Mix. Cover the casserole. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes, stir, and bake about 15 minutes longer or until the liquid is absorbed. Fluff with a fork, discard the bay leaf and let cook for at least 10 minutes before serving. Language is an expression of thought.
