Guest guest
Quinoa Pilaf 1/2 c. Quinoa (uncooked, whole grain) 1 Tbs. Oil (or use a little) 1 c. Onions (chopped) 1 Garlic Cloves 1 c. Mushrooms (sliced) 1/2 tsp. Coriander 1/4 Salt 2 tsp. Liquid Aminos (Soy Sauce, or Broth Cubes) 1 c. Carrots (shredded) 1 c. Water Brown the quinoa for about 5 minutes (stirring constantly). Be careful not to brown the quinoa on too high of a heat or for too long or it will start popping. Saute the onion, garlic, and mushrooms in a pot. Add the quinoa, water, and seasonings to the pot. Let the pilaf simmer on medium-low for about 15 minutes (until the quinoa is cooked). Enjoy. Language is an expression of thought.
