Guest guest
Simple Oatmeal Patties 1 Onion (chopped) 1 can Mushrooms (4 oz, chopped) 2 1/4 c. Oats 1 tsp. Vegex (1 cube, or beef flavored seasonings) 1 c. Tofu Milk (or rice milk) 1 tsp. Salt 1/2 tsp. Sage (dried, or 1 Tbs. fresh) 1/4 c. Water (warm) Saute onion in oil until lightly brown and clear. Dissolve vegex in warm water. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Let mixture stand in bowl for several minutes until it has a nice sticky consistancy. Mold into patties and fry without oil on a non-stick frying pan. Arrange in baking dish and pour desired gravy over the top of them. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour. (These patties also work great to freeze and use later, without the gravy.) Language is an expression of thought.
