Guest guest Posted January 16, 2002 Report Share Posted January 16, 2002 Tofu Loaf 2 Tbs. Oil 2 Garlic cloves (crushed) 1 Onion (chopped) 1 Carrot (diced) 2 Tbs. Liquid Aminos (or Soy Sauce) 16 oz. Tofu (firm, mashed) 1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder 5 Tbs. Brewer's Yeast (flakes) 1/2 c. Tahini (or Peanut Butter) 1/2 tsp. Basil 1/2 tsp. Oregano 1/2 tsp. Tumeric 4 slice Bread (whole wheat) Heat 1 Tbs. of oil in a pan; add garlic, onion, carrot, and 1 Tbs. Liquid Aminos. When vegetables are tender, remove from heat and put into a bowl with the mashed tofu. Cut bread into small cubes and saute with yeast flakes, garlic powder, 1 Tbs. oil, and 1 Tbs. Liquid Aminos. Add bread to the tofu mixture and season with remaining ingredients. Combine well. Place into a casserole dish and bake at 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) for 35 minutes.
