Guest guest Posted January 16, 2002 Report Share Posted January 16, 2002 Lemon Vegetable Noodles - (Filipino) 10 oz Rice Noodles 1 Tbs. Olive Oil 1 tsp. Garlic (crushed) 1/4 c. Onion (chopped) 1/2 c. Mushrooms (dried mushrooms, cooked) 1 c. Carrots (cut into strips) 1 c. Green Beans (sliced thin) 2 c. Cabbage (sliced thin) 1 c. Bean Sprouts 1/3 c. Water (from cooked dried mushrooms) 1/3 c. Bell Peppers (red, sliced into strips) 4 Tbs. Liquid Aminos (or Soy Sauce) 2 Tbs. Chives (chopped) 1 Lemon (sliced into rounds) Dip noodles in hot water. Add 2 tablespoons of liquid aminos, mix well, then set aside. Heat oil and saute garlic and onions till light brown. Add mushrooms, carrots, green beans, cabbage, bean sprouts, water, and 2 tablesppons of liquid aminos. Mix and then simmer for 2 - 3 minutes until half done.
