Guest guest Posted February 12, 2002 Report Share Posted February 12, 2002 Recipe Name: CHEESE TORTELLINI WITH CANNELLINI BEAN SAUCE Servings: 4 Comments: 1 9 oz package refrigerated Cheese stuffed tortellini 15 Ounce(s) Can cannellini beans-rinsed And drained 2/3 Cup(s) Milk, 1% lowfat 1/4 Cup(s) Parmesan cheese -- grated 1/3 Cup(s) Red sweet pepper -- Slivered 1 Tablespoon(s) Oregano -- chopped 1/4 Teaspoon(s) Salt 1/4 Teaspoon(s) Nutmeg -- ground 1/8 Teaspoon(s) Ground black pepper Cook tortellini according to package directions. Drain. Meanwhile, place the beans and milk in a food processor bowl or blender container. Cover and process till smooth. Transfer to a large skillet. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese, pepper, oregano, salt, nutmeg and pepper. Cook and Stir till heated through. Serve sauce over drained tortellini. If desired, sprinkle with shredded Parmesan cheese and garnish with fresh oregano. Language is an expression of thought.
