Guest guest Posted February 14, 2002 Report Share Posted February 14, 2002 Recipe Name: NO-MEAT BURGERS-IN-A-HURRY Servings: 4 Comments: 1 Pound(s) Firm tofu; mashed 1 Cup(s) Quick rolled oats 1/2 Cup(s) Wheat germ 1 Onion (optional) -finely minced 2 Tablespoon(s) Onion powder 2 Tablespoon(s) Soy sauce 1/2 Teaspoon(s) Salt 1/2 Teaspoon(s) Basil 1/2 Teaspoon(s) Oregano 1/2 Teaspoon(s) Garlic powder 1/8 Teaspoon(s) Black pepper Vegetable oil; for frying Mix ingredients together. Knead for a few minutes. Shape into six patties. Fry in lightly oiled cookie sheet at 325 F for 25 minutes. Serve on whole wheat bread or buns.
