Guest guest Posted February 18, 2002 Report Share Posted February 18, 2002 Blackberry Dumplings 1 quart fresh or frozen black raspberries 1 cup sugar 1 cup water 3 tablespoons cornstarch 3 cups prepared baking mix (Bisquick) 1 cup milk 1/4 cup sugar In a 6-quart pan, combine berries,sugar, water and cornstarch; stir to blend. Bring to a boil, stirring. Turn to low heat. Combine baking mix, milk and sugar, to form a soft dough. Drop by spoonfuls onto boiling berries. Cook uncovered over low heat for 10 minutes. Cover and cook 10-15 minutes more until dumplings are cooked through.
