Guest guest
Chilled Cherry Soymilk Soup Cherries are their best this time of year. You can eat them right off the stems, use them in pies, or as toppings for desserts. I designed this creamy cherry soup to add elegance to this popular summer fruit. Serves: 6 Measures Translation Table Ingredients: 3 cans black cherries, drained 1 cup water 1/4 cup sugar 1 tsp. lemon juice 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 cup GNC Natural BrandTM Soy Baking Mix 2 cups plain soy milk Instructions: 1. In a saucepan over medium high heat, simmer the cherries in the water until they are soft, about 10 minutes. Stir occasionally. 2. While the cherries are simmering, add the sugar, lemon juice and cinnamon; mix thoroughly. 3. Transfer the cherry mixture to a food processor or blender and puree until it forms a thick liquid. It also should be cooling down. When the mixture reaches room temperature, add the soy baking mix and soy milk; and continue to puree. Serve chilled. Language is an expression of thought.
